Renee is the Founder and Managing Director of Serein Family Law. She founded the firm in Brighton in 2021 to fulfil her vision of offering a premium family law service to Melbourne’s Bayside suburbs and beyond.
Renee is a Law Institute of Victoria Accredited Family Law Specialist and practises in all areas of family law, with a focus on complex and high net worth financial matters, complex parenting matters and international family law. She is best known for combining high quality legal advice and representation with genuine warmth and care for her clients.
Renee holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws (with Honours) from Monash University. She gained years of valuable experience in a mid-tier commercial law firm, before deciding to specialise exclusively in family law. She proceeded to spend well over 10 years in some of Melbourne’s leading specialist family law firms, where she was mentored by industry leaders.
Gaining the respect of her peers, Renee was named a Rising Star of Family Law in Melbourne in the coveted Doyle’s Guide in 2020, 2021 and 2022.
After developing a specific interest and practice in the niche area of international family law, Renee was invited to join the prestigious International Academy of Family Lawyers in 2021, making her one of only 15 family law solicitors in Melbourne to become a Fellow of the Academy.
Renee sits on the Law Institute of Victoria’s Family Law Section Executive Committee and is a member of the Family Law Sections of the Law Institute of Victoria and Law Council of Australia.
